Blossom

9th May 2012 - updated 11 May 2012

The hot, dry, wet, cold, windy, wet, cold spring has made for a mixed bag for the blossom this year.
I have not seen a single bee on the apple...
But is it me or are the dandelions looking a bit luxuriant this year...

Last year, the blossom was much better and challenged my abilities with the new camera.

Starting with the blackthorn on 15th April...

And the apple in the back garden on 18th April...

And on 19th April at Goodmanham churchyard...

And finally for now, although it's not blossom but a flower is what I think is either Herb Robert (probably) or (as I hoped)  Dove's-foot Cranesbill which, it is said is miraculous against rupture if powdered and drunk in claret.
