After the rain

10 May 2012

The weather brightened a bit, so a walk along Warter Road.
The beech trees are coming out in leaf.

The trunks of the trees here show the scars of some old graffitti.

The hawthorn (May blossom) is just coming out, some what later than last year, which is hardly a suprise.

As the weather improved and the temperature picked up the road started to steam.

The cowslips look better this year and appear to be spreading along the verge.

The odd bluebell still hanging on.

All in all a much better day than the rain first thing threatened.
